Trail Overview

This is the shortest path to strawberry knoll and Delaura Beach/Dunes. This is one of the few places you can actually drive on the beach on the west coast. Though not for the faint of heart, 6inch potholes quickly appear at the gravel line. The bottom of the hill holds car swallowing water crossings.

Trail has about 2’-3’ of water. If you stick to the right it isn’t an issue really. Lower vehicles just need to keep in mind where there airbox is sitting. Made it thru with no issues really.

Hard to rate this. Need 4x4 with good tires it's a pretty steep sand climb that's got good ruts that you can't get out of. Did it with about 8in of ground clearance and not super aired down 33s but did scrape the bottom a bit.

Giving this a 5 because of the sand entrance and exit on to the beach most rigs will have to air down but we made it at street pressure no locker. During the wet time of year the water will be 12”-24” that can be driven around for the most part all water holes have a hard bottom.
