Trail Overview

Jewel is a short dirt trail with sufficient space for all vehicles. Any high-clearance 2WD or above can make it to the "jewel" of a camping spot at the end. This camping spot opens onto a view of the Oregon coast and a portion of the Sand Lake dunes, and has space for approximately 2-3 rigs in total.

Difficulty

Road is one vehicle wide but entirely passable by most vehicles. Additionally, the trail is short with plenty of space at the end to turn around. There is a small ~12" mound to the left of the entrance that can be bypassed easily.
