Trail Overview

This route takes you off the main Green Mountain Road, up Green Mountain Middle Road, and to a few gravel pit areas. The route provides a few views of the city of Colton and other cities farther out. The pits are locations with some four-wheeling obstacles and is where a lot of people go to shoot their guns. The road surface is gravel with some potholes but otherwise easy to drive for most vehicles.

Difficulty

This is a gravel road with some potholes so it will be accessible by mostly all vehicles. A few of the other roads that branch off of this route have 12"-24" deep puddles after it rains. There can be snow on the road during the winter as you reach higher elevations.

Dry and safe. Gra el pits were fun. Trail narrows quite a bit at some points. And then just ends. Lots of little side trails to explore some day.

Trail is very nice. But, very off-road. Make sure you have the right vehicle.
