Trail Overview

As you start up this, you have a chance to see wildlife in the Tillamook State Forest. Or have a chance to meet a log truck or a logging crew. So pay attention to road signs and or C.B. channel signs, which should be posted. It may not always be the case, so drive with caution. This road will eventually turn into Fire Road 2. If you so choose to go that way.

This is a maintained road. The only time that it may not be maintained is during the winter if they are not logging up there. So, if it's snowing, prepare for deep snow.
