This long alpine trail is a pleasant route with a mix of sandy and rocky sections, along with some ruts that add a little roughness to the drive. Several pull-off areas along the route could offer opportunities for dispersed camping, although no fire rings were observed at any of the potential sites. The road remains fairly open, with trees and other larger debris cleared from the travel path. It also connects to another trail that did not appear to be overgrown, providing an additional route to explore. ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides, and Dirt Bikes must always have a valid Oregon ATV Operating Permit sticker.
