Trail Overview

This trail is narrow, sandy, and rocky, with several technical sections where low range is recommended. While much of the trail consists of sandy terrain, there are approximately six rocky sections where low range is definitely required. The trail climbs to the top of the mountain, rewarding travelers with excellent views. There are numerous downed trees that have been cut and cleared from the trail, but because the route is so narrow, there are many overhanging branches as well as tree trunks and stumps protruding from the sides of the trail. These create a risk of vehicle body damage, tire punctures, and significant pinstriping. The trail is also very dusty. OHV permit may be required.
