Trail Overview

This trail starts off wide and gravel-based and then, about halfway through it transitions to dirt-based with some rocks and rock gardens, and also narrows down to one vehicle wide with places to pass. The trail is extremely bumpy with washboard and potholes, and there are minor ruts and washouts up to a foot deep, but any vehicle type should be able to traverse this trail. While traveling this trail, you will have amazing views of the Three Sisters, Mount Jefferson, and Abbott Butte. Camping is allowed along this entire trail, and there are multiple pre-existing campsites. There are no amenities along the trail, but cell phone service was decent. The nearest services and supplies are around 40 minutes away from the beginning of this trail in Sisters, Oregon.
