Trail Overview

This is a dirt-based forest road that is wide enough for two vehicles. The trail has minor ruts and wash, as well as some potholes you will want to avoid, and it dead ends at the Bear Valley hiking trail parking area. There are good views of Three Fingered Jack and Green Ridge as well as the surrounding peaks and ridges, and camping is allowed along this entire trail with multiple pre-existing campsites. The cell phone service was weak in this area, and there are no amenities on the trail, so you will need to travel prepared. The nearest services and supplies are in the town of Sisters, Oregon, approximately 30 minutes from the beginning of this trail. Any vehicle type could traverse this trail.
