Corral Springs Road - FS 9774

This is a dirt-based forest road in the Crescent OHV area that runs from Highway 97 to FS 5840, where it connects to other trails. The trail climbs gradually around 1,400 feet in elevation over 7.8 miles, and passes the Corral Springs Campground. The trail has a railroad crossing and ruts/wash up to a foot deep, but this is an easy trail suitable for any vehicle type. You will have great views of the surrounding area and peaks, including Mount Theilsen to the south. Camping is allowed along this entire trail, and the campground is free and first come first serve with vault-style toilets. Cell phone service is weak, and there are no amenities along the trail, so you should travel prepared, but the nearest services are less than 15 minutes south on Highway 97 from the beginning of this trail in Chemult, Oregon.
