Trail Overview

Buzzards Point #35 is a steep, 2.3-mile directional descent (north to south) that drops nearly 1,900 feet from high above Jordan Creek Road. The upper section features tight switchbacks, shelfy side-hilling, and steep grades with root bands, drop-offs, and deeply troughed sections that demand advanced control. As the trail nears the bottom, it transitions into dense forest with narrow single-track threading through moss-covered trees and thick ferns. Riders will encounter narrow wooden bridges, limited visibility, and additional small drop-offs formed by roots and rock. This is a tough descent better suited to more experienced riders.
