Brush Creek - FS 1230-900

This is a dirt-based forest road in the National Forest that ends at the Brush Creek hiking trail head. The trail is bumpy with rock gardens and ruts/washouts up to a foot and a half deep. The trail gradually climbs nearly 800 feet in elevation in just under 2 miles, and is suitable for any vehicle type. The trail offers camping along the entire trail, and you will have a good view of Black Butte, Mount Jefferson, and Green Ridge. Cell phone service was weak along this trail, and there are no amenities, so you should travel prepared. The nearest services and supplies are in Sisters, Oregon, approximately 45 minutes from the start of this trail.
