Trail Overview

A rad way to get from Tumalo to the Cline Butte Trail System. This is an unmaintained road that is the fun route between Tumalo and Sisters or Redmond. Generally plenty of friendly people along the way that helps out the less equipped. Cline Butte offers trails for all vehicle types and technical terrain rated from 1-8.

Difficulty

There are some obstacles that can be driven around and avoided altogether. During the winter there can be some flooding and water crossings approx 2' deep.

Friend and I were visiting Oregon for overland expo and wanted to check out some local trails and enjoyed this spot. It had a mine field of rocks in one spot that was pretty bouncy but other than that it was easy.
