This segment of Trail 85 is 1.4-miles of winding trail through an old burn area characterized by piles of lava rock and numerous downed logs from fire damage, creating frequent and unpredictable obstacles. The narrow trail features many whoops and meanders through dense trees. Due to the abundance of downed logs, the trail is less traveled and in need of clearing. It connects Chelsey's Challenge to Trail 70 and presents a more technical and challenging ride compared to other trails in the system. Quads are not recommended.
