East Signal Mountain

Went out to look for a camp site and found some near the end of the trail. However, when we got to the end there was a gate so we turned back to call it a night. We turned into what looked like some camp grounds and before my girlfriend and I knew, there was a light flashing right above my truck. For a while we didn’t know what it was, I thought maybe it’s camera with a proximity sensor or something so I passed back the opposite way to see if it triggered again. It wasn’t til I about got to the exit of what I believe was the campsite and back onto the trail that it flashed again. After looking at it for a minute we realized it was a drone following us and flashing its light for a little bit back down the trail. We hauled aes out of there not knowing if it was people with bad intentions, security, or a government drone. I can’t say I will come back but it was definitely a cool drive. The trail itself is a bit bumpy but can definitely be accessed by most anything that isn’t a normal car.

The trail is a little rough and deteriorated. It was not a very hard trail. There was a closed gate getting towards the end of the trail as you near the peak and I had to turn around.

Great ride today. Went from the bottom to the top without a problem. There’s a few big washouts but wasn’t a issue going through. The creek crossings were nice. Solid bottoms no issues at all.
