This trail has steep grades, loose rocks, and some shallow ruts that may become slick during the wet season. Near the top, the trail approaches a ledge with an approximately 50-foot drop; it does not present a significant obstacle but should be approached with awareness. Office hours are approximately 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday through Sunday, with later hours on Fridays to accommodate visitors arriving after work. If the office is closed, rides can be booked online to receive proof of purchase by email, or payment can be made using the cash drop box next to the office door.
