If you’re looking for a trail that actually tests both driver skill and vehicle capability, this is the one. The terrain was no joke.steep drop-offs, rocky sections everywhere, and obstacles that really put suspension flex to work. Definitely not a beginner “dirt road” trail. You’ll want good tires, clearance, and confidence behind the wheel.

This was a pretty challenging trail for our group. We had a stock 3rd gen Tacoma on 33s, stock 5th gen 4Runner, and stock Wrangler. There were a lot of off camber sections, some decent sized rocks and ledges, and the trail is quite narrow at some points. We made slow progress but with spotters we were able to get through it without any damage. We ran into a group on side by sides and they graciously pulled off so we could come down the hill.

Very slick on the way up, and very tilted before the top. Beautiful ride in the snow.

Didn’t get any pictures of being on the trail, made it through the river no issue right after a long heavy rain. Was a short off camber section that was a very small but manageable climb at the beginning to pass the gate. The trail actually begins where we stopped, went alone, no aftermarket 4wd. Had actually made it half way up the first hill in 2wd before I came back down and put it back in 4wd. Truck has no body lift, 2.5in RC suspension lift on 285 55R20. Got up to the top and wasn’t going to make it over the rock at the top, ended up backing down due to not having a spotter and it being too late at night. I didn’t put my light bars on the truck for this trip and it was 11pm. Would recommend atleast 33s and lockers, and going during the day lol

Made it to the top of the rocky section coming from the creek entrance. On the way down the tree that has been hanging above the trail is now directly in the path due to all the rain. Reversed back up and turned around in the small clearing up to and proceeded back down the way we came.

Very off camber around 30 degrees in a lot of places, very steep muddy climb at the end with 14”+ ruts, had to turn around would need 35” tires to get through

Started on the eastern end of the road. There was water flowing throughout the trail. I have a level and 33” tires and managed not to rub but had to be very careful with the lines I chose. The creek crossing on the western end has high fast moving water, I would not recommend crossing it even with a snorkel. I crossed over on the gravel patch and took the bridge over, google and apple maps both show that as public road so take that for what you will.

This is not a beginner trail. I was unable to finish the whole trail with my stock ZR2. Lots of off chamber and tight roads and I’m not ready to get some body damages on my truck yet. If you enter from east side, there will be an area after the first off chamber part where you can turn around. Don’t go any farther if you’re not ready or without proper gears.
