Turkey Branch

Turkey Branch is another enjoyable route through the surrounding state game lands and shares many of the same characteristics as the nearby trails within the network. The trail is generally well maintained and provides users with a straightforward drive through the surrounding forest. Under normal conditions, Turkey Branch is free from major obstacles and should present little difficulty for most capable vehicles. The route can easily be incorporated with nearby trails to create a longer day of exploring the game lands while enjoying the remote atmosphere of the area. Although the terrain is relatively easy, users should continue to pay attention to changing surface conditions as they travel. Periods of heavy rain can produce standing water, mud, and softer ground on unpaved trails throughout the area. Overall, Turkey Branch is a simple but worthwhile addition to the larger game lands trail network.
