Trail 1 FR 420-1

This road starts at the end of River Road in Tellico at State Line Campground. The first mile of the road is single-track asphalt. When it changes over to gravel, you will have some areas where the road is narrow with steep drop-offs. The road appears to be well-maintained, but you will need to pay attention due to the drop-offs. There are a lot of great places to see layers of mountains and valleys. The best time to visit would be fall and winter due to the views. There's spotty cell service (Verizon). If you decide to camp, just know that there isn't any electricity or sewage but there are pit toilets.
