Trail Overview

This trail runs through Pettiford Creek State Forest and is the easiest trail within Pettiford Creek. It mostly consists of sandy double-track with small whoops and potential for small puddles or mud pits. The majority of the trail can be driven in 2WD, only requiring 4WD upon heavy rain, resulting in some potential mud pits. This area, much like the surrounding Croatan National Forest, is a hunting and game land, which means that although this trail can be driven quickly, be cautious for other drivers, animals, hikers, or hunters around or on the trails. Please note that this trail terminates at the state land boundary and is not legally drivable beyond that point.
