Trail Overview

Pettiford Creek Trail 8 acts as a link between the Pettiford Creek Main Trail and Trail 6. This trail is mostly composed of packed sand and follows a double-track layout, offering scenic views of the surrounding forest. The drive is generally easy, with only a few minor ruts and roots--none exceeding a few inches--that are unlikely to pose any issue for most vehicles. One stretch of the trail passes through an area of tall grass that can obscure the path, so it's important to follow clearly established tracks to stay on course.
