Trail Overview
Green Rock Trail has a steep and narrow entrance just off the main road before opening into a gravel route. The trail is free from major obstacles but is very steep in sections, making traction an important consideration. AWD is recommended, as loose gravel and changing weather conditions could make the steep grades difficult or potentially hazardous for 2WD vehicles if traction is lost. The trail climbs to a State Game Lands parking area and a permanently closed state service gate. Although vehicle access ends at the gate, foot and bicycle traffic are permitted beyond it, providing additional opportunities for users to explore the area. Overall, Green Rock Trail offers a short but steep climb with easy terrain and access to additional recreational opportunities beyond the vehicle gate.
