Cotrel Knob Trail

Cotrel Knob Trail is accessed from the parking area through a seasonally open gate, which is open from September 1 through March 1. Beyond the gate, the trail follows a well-kept gravel two-track that is free from major obstacles and provides users with access to several hunting trails and scenic mountain views. Although the trail is only two-track in width, there are several areas where users can pull off to allow oncoming traffic to pass. The trail is well maintained and provides plenty of width for a comfortable drive. Overall, Cotrel Knob Trail offers an easy and scenic route into the mountains, with access to additional hunting and recreational trails along the way.
