Trail Overview
Also known as the Dolsee Trail, this route offers a true backcountry driving experience and showcases the full range of terrain found throughout the Tughill region. Expect rocky ledges, deep ruts, mud holes, water crossings, and narrow sections that require careful tire placement and attention to trail conditions. The trail is two-way, with limited opportunities to pass oncoming vehicles, so be prepared to yield and communicate when necessary. This is a designated truck trail and is intended for full-size vehicles only. ATV and SxS use is prohibited. The trail is regularly patrolled by the Department of Environmental Conservation officers, and all users are expected to follow posted regulations and practice responsible trail etiquette.
Difficulty
This trail has it all, so drivers should be prepared for changing conditions and should possess the vehicle capability and experience necessary to navigate challenging terrain safely. This would be a very expensive tow or a long walk to help.
