Doug Mountain Road

This road begins as an easy dirt route with a few gravel sections through the Speculator Tree Farm Conservation Easement. As you continue, the road narrows into a grassy two-track with vegetation growing down the center. The drive alternates between dense forest and wide open meadows, creating a nice variety of scenery and occasional opportunities to spot wildlife. The only notable obstacles are a few small rocks, potholes, minor washouts, and a handful of short rocky climbs as the road gently gains and loses elevation. The trail ends at a locked gate.
