Trail Overview

Forrest Road 462 to the Coyote Trailhead. This trail is enjoyable but has a few technical obstacles. The trail gets very narrow in some spots. There are three good obstacles: the first two are to stay right for the easier route and leave for the harder side. The third obstacle, the left side, is easier, and the right is harder. You have a few obstacles you can choose to run off the sides. This trail is best run in the fall, spring, and summer. In the winter, it can be very muddy and slippery. There are several large ruts to be aware of, so pick your lines. At least 32-inch tires and nine inches of ground clearance would be recommended. This trail is off the Chamisosotrailheadd, in the Sandia Mountains.

Wasn’t that bad a little tight for as big of a girls as I’m driving, but we did it open front DIF lock rear desk or low. We crawled up a lot of it. We did take some bypasses just because I don’t wanna chance it without a locker in the front but overall great trail. Had fun found a lot of fossils will be back up here
