Trail Overview
Straight Out Of Apex is an exhilarating rollercoaster of a trail that heads predominantly straight out of the Apex Staging area. It offers a thrilling experience as it traverses the undulating terrain of the desert landscape. This trail features numerous steep and narrow hill climbs, adding excitement as you navigate the varying elevations. As you progress, you'll encounter loose and powdery sections that can challenge your traction, particularly as you tackle the longer dugout hill climbs. While the area has steeper and more challenging trails, this route will successfully guide a 4x4 back to the top of the ridge, all while providing a mix of fun technical sections to keep the adventure engaging. Drivers of full-size vehicles must exercise caution, especially in the narrower areas, as they may pose a risk for body damage. These dugout hill climbs are very narrow. Important Note: Expect three bars of LTE service that may fade in and out during your journey. Always be well-prepared when navigating the desert environment; ensure you carry sufficient water and supplies for a safe and enjoyable adventure.

This trail is rated as a 4 due to its steep and loose hill climbs and narrow dugout sections on the hills, which may make it impassable for wider full-size vehicles. There is a possibility of paint damage from these dugout climbs, so exercise caution while maneuvering through the area.
