Trail Overview
Jawa Canyon invites you to venture into an exhilarating landscape characterized by a fun sandy wash, with impressive bermed corners and towering mud cliffs rising from either side as you approach the dunes. This unique setting provides an exciting driving experience, with the cliffs adding to the drama of the scenery. If you are a Star Wars fan, you'd totally agree; this is where the sand people would be. As you navigate to the end of the wash, you'll encounter a thrilling waterfall and rock pile that significantly raises the trail's difficulty rating. This challenging section is where the real fun begins, offering a test of your off-roading skills. However, if you're seeking a less demanding path, there are plenty of alternative routes to leave the wash before reaching this point, allowing for a more tailored experience. Important Note: Cellular service is almost nonexistent in this area, so it's essential to download your offline maps before setting out. Always come well-prepared for your desert adventure by bringing plenty of water and supplies.
