Trail Overview

This short 4-mile out-and-back trail takes you to the top of the ridge line of Indian Pass and the Old Pope Mine. This is a great side trip when taking the Cohenour loop. At the top of the pass, you get a great view of Lake Mead and the Las Vegas strip (even better at night). There is camping on the ridge line but expect high winds.

Single vehicle trail with few turnouts. Some steep grades. Passable by stock 4WD vehicles.
