Trail Overview

The trail takes you by some of the sites in the Hot Springs Mountains. These sites include Eagle Rock, Eagle Salt Works site, an abandoned telecommunications building, Airway Beacon site, and a few mine sites. Spend some time exploring along the way, as well as enjoying the views of the 40-mile desert.

Difficulty

Route varies from a graded gravel road to a less traveled trail with sandy areas. There is playa area towards Highway 95, but it has a graded gravel trail through it. Stay off the playa if there has been any rain; you will get stuck.
