Trail Overview
Farm View Road offers an easy-going, 18.5-mile dirt route perfect for any skill level or vehicle type, running through the picturesque valley flanked by the Egan Range to the west and the Schell Creek Range to the east. With minimal elevation change—ranging between 6,689 and 6,921 feet—this flat and straight bypass serves as an excellent, scenic alternative to nearby highways, showcasing sweeping views of local farmland and prominent peaks like Ward Mountain.
The trail consists primarily of a wide dirt surface that remains highly accessible during dry conditions, though it can quickly turn into a slick, muddy track during the wet season or after heavy storms. Access Description
The route is open to all vehicle types, including standard 2WD passenger cars, though high-clearance or 4WD vehicles are recommended during wet conditions.
