Carrara Canyon Road

This brutal rocky, sandy slog up the hill ends at an old mining complex with interesting large mined cubes and a few old building foundations. One can see where the road was supposed to be, and the further up you get, bigger rocks and the looser sand. This trail could be impassable or flooded in rain. It's the desert, so pack accordingly, bring lots of water, watch for rattlesnakes and be aware of sharp rocks that may puncture your tires. The town of Beatty is nearby for fuel, groceries, and restaurants. No cellular coverage at the top. 2bars LTE by the highway.
