Trail Overview

Up up and away. This out and back is a slog to the top. It starts off well traveled and ends as a narrow two-track in deep grass with large boulders hiding in it. The middle section of the trail is a dense forest with lots of evidence of tree cutting and wood gathering of fresh deadfall. Again, one bar of Verizon LTE fades in and out. This trail connects up to get access to Pinecones and Tall Grass.

Difficulty

Not super challenging just narrow, the last little bit would not have room for a full size rig to turn around, best to take the right and head up Pinecones and tall grass instead.

Trail is dry and clear. No deadfalls or obstructions, but closed at the end by a gate. Some camper traffic in the lower area, but didn't see anyone farther up.
