Trail Overview

This is a fun, well-maintained singletrack that follows the Clark Fork River. There are some technical rock/root features, very small water crossings and a few switchbacks. The trail is shared, trail so you may encounter the occasional hiker/biker. You'll end at the Ferry Landing Fishing Access which has a beach, picnic tables and outhouse. Early Spring you may encounter downed trees as well as the last few hundred feet of trail under water, but it's usually still passable. There is decent cell service on the entire trail.

Super awesome flowy trail! Saw one other dirtbike headed the opposite direction but no one else. We attempted some trails south of the interstate near Little Joe campground but they were above our skill level/still covered in snow/deadfall. Doesn’t seem many people ride dirtbikes out here.

Super flowy trail. There were some blown down trees but easy to get over/around. Some decent exposure, all in all a super fun trail

I was riding my dirt bike down this trail and was told off by a hiker that it was no longer a dirt bike trail. Not sure if this is true or not. There's only a hiking sign on the east end of the trail. I rode to the west side but there wasn't anything to say either way. Too bad if it is closed it was a fun little trail.

I contacted the Superior Ranger District and they said the trail is still open to dirt bikes. Also verified on the US FOREST SERVICE web site. 06-04-2024
