Trail Overview

This is a fun and short trail to Fisher Lake. The trail is rough and rocky but very easy except for one V notch obstacle that bumps the rating, otherwise, this would be considered a 2. This trail can be done in a full-size rig but a good spotter would be highly recommended for the V notch. The trail takes approximately 1 hour each way to complete. There is a private cabin at the lake and it's a great location for a lunch stop or overnight stay if camping.

Difficulty

The trail is solid rock for 90% of the trail with the above mentioned V Notch being the only really hard obstacle. It is bumpy but can be done in a mostly stock, high clearance rig with a capable driver.

The Fisher Lake trail up to the V-notch or what locals call 'The Chute" was passable but very rough and definitely required some on the scene planning. The V-notch was not passable for our Teryx, and requires someone with a more capable vehicle, solid skills and a spotter. The area is very scenic...we really enjoyed the ride up to this point. Expect to average 3-4 mph on the trail.
