Trail Overview

This rocky out and back is a nice detour from the main trail. It leads to a single camping/turnaround spot with a short hike to the top of Black Bear Point. There are almost 360degviews of the surrounding mountains and the only two bars of LTE cell service on the trail. If one is feeling adventurous, there is a hike from this Peak to the Skalkaho-Rye Motorized trail below. The route is narrow and very rocky, with many opportunities to puncture a sidewall, some off-camber sections, and trees that may cause paint damage close to the trail.

Difficulty

Rocky and narrow, Possible paint damage, some of camber sections.
