Trail Overview

A well-maintained gravel road that is generally easy to navigate, though there are a few narrower sections where trees and brush close in slightly. Along the route, you’ll encounter several puddles that can become surprisingly deep, especially after periods of rain, so it’s wise to approach them cautiously. The road eventually leads to a quiet pond, where one could stretch their legs and spend some time enjoying the water, or maybe fish.

Difficulty

This trail is considered easy under normal conditions. The road is well-maintained and primarily gravel, making it suitable for most stock SUVs, trucks, and AWD vehicles with moderate ground clearance. The tighter sections are manageable and do not require technical driving skills. The only factor that may increase difficulty is the presence of deeper puddles, particularly after rain. Drivers should slow down and assess water depth before proceeding. In dry conditions, this is a straightforward route that leads to a peaceful pond with simple parking access.

We went down in a Hyundai elantra. We made it about halfway before we came across a puddle we didn't feel safe attempting. Up until that point the road was open and easily traversible without issue with approximately 5" of clearance.
