Trail Overview

This route begins as a wide county road with enough room for two vehicles to pass comfortably. As you continue, it narrows significantly near a barn and transitions into more of a single vehicle wide route. Use caution in this area, as the property on the same side as the barn is clearly marked as private, and it’s important to stay on the established roadway. Beyond that point, the trail continues through sections where trees close in and create tighter clearances. Aside from the narrower passages, there are no major obstacles or technical challenges along the route.

Difficulty

The first section is a wide county road with plenty of room for passing, and while it narrows to a single vehicle-wide route, the terrain itself remains straightforward. The tighter tree sections require slower speeds and careful positioning, especially for wider vehicles. Most stock SUVs, trucks, and AWD vehicles with moderate ground clearance can complete this trail without difficulty. The primary consideration is respecting posted private property and staying on the established route.

We didn't get far down the road past the barn. Once you get to the barn it goes from a gravel road to a narrow single-vehicle road with high brush in the center. We stopped due to puddles because we are in a Hyundai Elantra and I don't trust our ability to get through it.
