Trail Overview
This route starts out fairly wide and is in very good condition, making the first stretch easy to navigate. The surface is well-maintained and generally smooth. Around 1 mile in, you may encounter a small seasonal waterfall and a shallow water crossing that flows across the trail, depending on recent rainfall. Beyond that point, the route begins to narrow, and the surface becomes more rutted and uneven. Traction can decrease in these sections, especially when wet, making it easier to slip or slide if you’re not paying attention.
Difficulty
The first mile of this trail is solidly Easy, thanks to its wide width and well-maintained surface. Most stock SUVs, trucks, and AWD vehicles with decent clearance can handle it without issue. Beyond that point, the trail narrows and becomes more rutted, which can reduce traction and create minor off-camber or uneven sections. There is also the possibility of scratches or pinstriping in paint from the overgrown trees.
