This is part 5 of a trip around Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri! This leg is the best; there are some neat things to see, places to take pictures, and a little history!

Difficulty

This is a pretty easy road, but portions of it are Forest Service roads and they aren't always maintained after storms. You could encounter some trees across the road.

History

Uranus used to be a strip club, but now it's a Fudge Factory.

Easily traversible by any vehicle. Weather was good. This road is good for foraging violets. It ends by a house on the left and a small stream crossing with a private property sign. You must turn around here or you will be on private property.

I'm making my way hitting all the trails I can tonight in the area. The trail was pretty nice with some offshoots for exploration. There was some debris but nothing you can drive over, just sticks and such. Overall pretty nice will come back during the day

Easy drive on a forest road. There was washboarding in some areas but otherwise, nothing eventful. The highlights of the route are the train bridge and the cliffs at the Devil’s Elbow. It is worth the drive to check out these features.
