Trail Overview
This scenic trail branches off from Blacks Winner Road and features a gravel surface that varies between two-vehicle and single-vehicle width. It winds through forested surroundings and has numerous side trails leading away from the main route, providing opportunities for further exploration. About halfway along, there is a single clearing that could potentially be used for dispersed camping, although no developed facilities are present. The trail is relatively short but offers a pleasant and varied drive. It is popular with ATV and side-by-side users, so caution is advised, particularly on narrower sections or when approaching bends where visibility may be limited. The route ends at Thompson Forest Road, creating a connection to other nearby trails. While the trail offers attractive scenery and some variety in terrain, it has no formal campsites and lacks amenities such as trash disposal and a water supply. Cell service may be limited in certain areas along the route.
Difficulty
The trail is maintained but can develop light overgrowth between trims, especially in the summer months. Commonly used by local OHV traffic, the path remains visible and passable, though branches and low brush may occasionally encroach.
