Trail Overview
Northwest Spur B begins as a narrow rocky route with grass between the tire tracks and dense vegetation close to both sides. The trail passes through heavily wooded terrain with fallen and uprooted trees before reaching an open area near a creek. A steep, washed-out, water-filled depression was observed at approximately 18 inches or greater, with an estimated depth approaching 24 inches at its deepest point. Additional washouts and water-filled depressions occur farther along the route. The trail then climbs through tight vegetation and larger rock formations before becoming increasingly overgrown. The final section was heavily covered by vegetation and should be approached cautiously.
Difficulty
Although short, the trail contains a combination of tight vegetation, rock formations, washouts, and a significant water-filled washout section estimated at approximately 18–24 inches deep. The route also includes steep terrain and fallen trees. Conditions should be evaluated carefully after rain because water depth and washout severity may change.
