Niles Bay Forest Road

This trail begins as a wide, well-maintained gravel road that passes several residential properties and provides access to others further along the route. The terrain includes a number of steep climbs and descents, as well as some sharp curves, so it’s important to remain cautious of local traffic throughout. The surrounding forest is pleasant and adds to the overall atmosphere of the drive. Parking is available nearby for those looking to explore the ATV or snowmobile trails. The main trail continues for some distance before ending at a private road. A turnaround area is located just before the private property sign. There are no formal campsites or amenities along the trail. Trash disposal, water, and reliable cell service should not be expected.
