Trail Overview
Lizzy is the first section in the M25 outer loop of London OHM. It begins fairly tame with just a few simpler rock gardens/creek crossings, but gets a little more challenging as you go. Beware of the cliff exposure towards the start of the trail. One section contains a larger boulder garden, but it's one of the easier ones in the system, making it good practice for riders who have never encountered an obstacle like that before. A longer hill climb has been included in the 2026 reroute. After that hill climb is a large boulder drop with a go around to the left, plus a few mud holes towards the end.
Difficulty
While there are several rocky creek crossings and a boulder garden, they are not incredibly difficult to get through if you pick a good line and maintain some momentum. The new hill climb is long and a little off camber in a few spots, but it's not especially difficult. The boulder drop can be sketchy, but there is a go-around to the left.
