Trail Overview
This trail is a well-maintained red and brown gravel road that winds through a forested area. The surface is generally smooth but does have some corrugations in places, especially along the inclines and descents. Drivers should stay alert for local traffic, as the trail appears to be in regular use. The route offers a scenic drive through the trees and eventually leads to a small designated campsite. A little further along the road from the main campsite, there is an additional lake access area with room for vehicle parking. As the trail continues, it crosses several small creeks and passes several clearings before eventually meeting up with The Grade road. While the drive is relatively easy, the natural setting and sparse development make it a pleasant escape for those seeking a quiet outdoor experience. All vehicles are permitted from Highway 4 to Lake Clara, but not beyond.
