Forest Road 0425

Forest Road 0425 is a quick connector Trail between Smokey Hills Trail and North Smokey Hills Forest Road. Even though it is short, it brings some challenges. It has some steep washout climbs and off-camber turns. This trail is more difficult than the trails in the area. The trail is very narrow, single-vehicle wide, with some spots to make room for passing vehicles, so keep an eye out as you travel along. With multiple steep climbs and various washouts, this trail is definitely one to hit. Depending on the time of year and weather, this can add some more difficulty to sections. This trail has lots of low-hanging vegetation that may need to be lifted depending on vehicle height.
