Trail Overview

Trail 9 winds through some of Alger Grade’s flatter ground, making it a solid intermediate trail without any major technical sections. Riders should expect the usual mix of tight trees, roots, and scattered rocks that define the system, but the trail stays fairly manageable overall. There is one short rock ledge that can get dug out on the low side depending on conditions. Try to avoid spinning your tire there to help keep the feature from getting worse.

Difficulty

Trail 9 is rated a 4 because it has the typical Alger Grade mix of roots, rocks, and tight trees, but it avoids the steeper climbs, bigger rock features, and more technical line choices found on some of the harder trails in the system. It still requires intermediate-level skills to ride it well.
