Trail Overview
This trail begins as a mostly wide, well-maintained gravel route suitable for two vehicles. It passes through attractive farmland, with open fields and a farmhouse along the way, where caution is advised for possible local traffic. The trail eventually crosses a paved road and continues onward, gradually narrowing as it passes each additional residence. The character of the route shifts from open rural scenery to a more enclosed forested setting as it approaches its endpoint. The trail ultimately connects with Wobble Grade Forest Road within the Beltrami Island State Forest, providing access to a larger network of forest roads and trails, particularly the Bemis Hills Trail network. While the route offers varied scenery and a straightforward connection between these points, it does not have any formal campsites and lacks amenities such as trash disposal and a water supply. Cell service may be limited in some areas along the trail.
Difficulty
This forest trail is well-maintained and used daily by residents and adventurers. The route is wide and clear of debris, with established tread and minimal overgrowth, making it ideal for a smooth and scenic drive.
