Trail Overview

Swan Creek Trail (121st Avenue) is an easy and bouncy off-road trail for beginners. Located off 118th Avenue, this route is easily accessible. This trail is typically easy with nothing technical, just lots of ruts that will bounce you all around. Most of the trail is a combination of sand and dirt and weaves through a beautiful forest with great fall foliage. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause mud/water holes that can get rutted out quickly. Most of this trail is only wide enough for 1 vehicle with limited places to pass. This trail ends up at a sandy parking loop where you can walk down a short trail over to a spillway on Swan Creek (which flows into the Kalamazoo River nearby). There are usually a few people fishing here, but the hiking is great as well! Regardless of the conditions, this is a fun and unique trail!

this is a really fun trail to get started on there are somewhat bits and some ruts. they are also some turnaround spots but there are no sand donuts. You entered this trail coming off of a dirt road and then it usually ends up in another dirt road. very fun and why don't have to let other vehicles buy in spots.

Dusty one lane trail. Most of the trail is in the woods. The end of the trail leads to a sandy turnaround that is fun for donuts. But watch out for junk in the middle.
