Trail Overview

Sidewinder Trail is an easy off-road trail for beginners. Located off 46th Street, this route is easily accessible. This trail is typically easy with nothing technical, just lots of ruts that will bounce you all around. Most of the trail is sand and dirt and weaves through a beautiful forest with great fall foliage. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause mud/water holes that can get rutted out quickly. Most of this trail is only wide enough for 1 vehicle with limited places to pass. Regardless of the conditions, this is a pretty fun short trail that leads to other trails!

A bit of a rough road with alot of bumps. mostly sandy. My Ford Ranger made it threw the trail fairly well. A full size truck might make it but there are some twists and turns that are very close quarters and could make it a bit challenging for a bigger vehicle.
