Trail Overview

This is a short, wet, and fun trail that cuts from Horseshoe Harbor Trail over to Mandan Road. This is a mixed-use trail that Mountain Bikers use to access the Keweenaw Point Trail Phase 2 section. Comprised of over a half dozen water holes, that will vary in depth depending on recent precipitation, the trail is a good way to get wet if you are on/in an open cab vehicle.

Lots of mud and tight trails. Expect scratches and any antennas to catch branches. Several deep muddy puddles you can’t see the bottom of, a few wider ones as well. There is a rock feature similar to “the wall” on horseshoe harbor road - this one is around a curve as well, but not nearly as steep. With some momentum my friend’s 2wd ram made it up. No problem for 4x4. Lots of buys towards the water.
